Service Description
Beginners and advanced yogis all benefit from a Gentle yoga practice, with its emphasis on breathing and quiet reflection, allowing us to come away feeling flexible and stronger in our bodies, relaxed in our minds, spiritual rejuvenation, and calmed in our nervous systems by releasing stress and anxiety - these are some of the rewards of this yoga practice. This Gentle yoga is performed at a slower pace, and allowing time in each position to breathe and deepen stretches and extended time for meditation, yogic breath work, and relaxation. I encourage modifications since everyone’s range of motion is different and this class can be practiced by just about anyone, regardless of age or physical condition. It is especially great for people with injuries, pain, mobility or health issues. And finally, a gentle yoga practice is a great choice for anyone who is afraid they are not fit or flexible enough to do typical yoga poses.
