Service Description

Yoga nidra practice results in deep relaxation and expands the individual's self-awareness. Yoga Nidra is a Sanskrit term meaning "yogic sleep.” Also referred to as "psychic sleep," yoga nidra is a state between sleeping and waking. While in this state, the body is completely relaxed and the practitioner turns the awareness inward by listening to a set of instructions; much like a guided meditation. This scripted guided meditation is intended to activate various parts of the brain for optimal healing and relaxation. Throughout the process, hidden states of consciousness are accessed to free the practitioner from the concepts of time, space and reason. Brain activity becomes reduced and when that happens, the body goes into healing mode where toxins are cleared at a cellular level and subconscious baggage can be removed. It is said that 20 minutes of yoga Nidra is equivalent to 2 hours of restful sleep. Reiki is a technique that helps to “smooth” down and balance the auric field & hleps to clear energetic blockages within the 7 main energy centers (chakras) that are located within the body & along the spine. Blockages, for one reason or another, could cause mental, physical, emotional and even spiritual challenges. When these centers are in balance, one has a better chance of living their most authentic, balanced and full life. When combined, Yoga Nidra and Reiki provide a truly magical experience
